Relationship based networking creates trust and trust leads to referrals.
In addition to the weekly group meetings every Wednesday, a crucial part of PRO is the one-on-one meetings between members, outside of the weekly get togethers. We call this “Coffee Breaks”, and the Coffee Breaks is where the real networking happens. The Coffee Break meetings give us a chance to get to know our fellow members more in depth, and it is in these meetings that the real networking happens. The Coffee Breaks are the “Secret Sauce” of PRO.
Leads groups that pass referrals by quota, tend to produce referrals that hold little real value. We all know that when anyone makes a referral it is a big deal – because when you refer someone you also put your name on the line. You are giving an endorsement, and you know that whatever experience your friend, client or customer has, will reflect back on you.
This is why we put so much emphasis on creating real and lasting relationships. It is only when we know somebody well, that we feel truly comfortable about making a referral.
